Islamabad: The Supreme Court ordered re-election in Balochistan Constituency PB-50.

A 3-member bench headed by Chief Justice Qazi Faiz Isa heard the application. The court ordered re-election in constituency PB 50 Qila Abdullah with the mutual consent of all the parties including the Election Commission.

The Supreme Court annulled the Election Commission’s order to conduct re-voting at only 6 polling stations and said that the Election Commission should conduct re-polling in the constituency as per the law.

ANP’s Zamard Khan challenged the Election Commission’s order and took a stand that the turnout was unreal at many polling stations of the provincial seat, but no re-voting was ordered there.
