Karachi: After grace marks, 42 percent students of inter year first commerce group passed

Karachi: Board of Higher Secondary Education Karachi has declared the results of Commerce Regular Group of Intermediate Part I Annual Examinations 2023, the percentage of successful students has increased from 34 to 42 percent by awarding grace marks on the recommendation of the Fact Finding Committee.

The success rate in the results of the Intermediate Part I Annual Examinations 2023 of Commerce Regular Group was very low, after which, on the recommendation of the Fact Finding Committee, grace marks were given to the students in four relevant subjects in the Commerce Regular Group as well, on the recommendation of the Fact Finding Committee. Yes, with this move by the board, the result of commerce regular has increased from 34% to 42%.

According to the board announcement, 35 thousand 432 candidates got registered in Commerce regular group exams while 34 thousand 198 candidates participated in the exams.

In these examinations, 14 thousand 639 candidates cleared all seven papers, 6 thousand 770 cleared six papers, 4 thousand 279 cleared five papers, 2 thousand 848 cleared four papers, 2 thousand 24 cleared three papers, 1 thousand 672 cleared two papers, while 1 thousand 290 Candidates have succeeded in one paper. The results are also uploaded on the board website www.biek.edu.pk.

According to the board announcement, in the light of the recommendations of the fact-finding committee formed under the direction of the Chairman Interboard, the four papers of Principal of Accounting, Principal of Commerce, Principal of Economics and Business Mathematics of Commerce Regular Group of Intermediate Part I have given up to 15% marks to the students. Marks are given.

Earlier, the proportion of successful candidates was decreasing due to strict marking in some places in the papers of commerce group and the proportion of MCQs in the papers was 60% and 40%. was given

It may be recalled that the Caretaker Chief Minister Sindh / Controlling Authority Sindh Educational Boards had established a fact-finding committee on the complaints of students on the results of Science Pre-Medical, Pre-Engineering and Science General, which gave up to 15% grace marks to the students in four subjects of the Science group. It was recommended.

After science group, commerce regular also gives up to 15% grace marks in four subjects, students of both groups have got equal benefit. Besides, revised mark sheets of science group students will also be sent to the colleges next week.
