Lahore: Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz Sharif has given permission to use her helicopter for emergency transfer of patients.
In the meeting presided over by Maryam Nawaz, a detailed briefing was given on the air ambulance project. Senior Provincial Minister Maryam Aurangzeb, Provincial Adviser Pervez Rasheed, Provincial Minister Specialized Healthcare and Medical Education Khawaja Salman Rafiq, Provincial Minister Primary and Secondary Health Khawaja Imran Nazir, Chief Secretary, Chairman P&D, Secretary Finance, Dr. Adnan, Secretary Emergency. Department and other concerned officials attended.
In the meeting, Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz said that our people lose their lives because they do not reach the hospital in time. In the event of an accident in remote areas, timely transport of the victims to the hospital is indispensable.
He said that it was heartbreaking to see the heart tech patient in Sargodha Hospital helpless. Rescue 1122 service will also be started on the highway. Air ambulance service will also be started in Punjab very soon.
