Islamabad: A policeman was martyred by firing during a raid to arrest the wanted accused in the limits of Koral police station.
According to the spokesperson of Islamabad Capital Police, the police team raided the area of Koral police station to arrest the wanted accused and during this the accused started firing on the police team.
The police said that police jawan Muhammad Shoaib was seriously injured due to the firing of the accused, who was shifted to the hospital but he succumbed to his injuries and was martyred.
