Lahore: Heavy rains are likely to occur across Punjab from March 11 to 14.

According to the spokesman of the Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA), the intensity of cold will increase due to stormy rains across the province from March 11 to 14.

According to the spokesman, the transport in the hilly areas may be affected due to heavy rains, an alert has been issued to the administration of the respective districts. DG PDMA Imran Qureshi has directed the administration to be on 24-hour vigilance and asked to be ready all the time to deal with any possible uncertain situation.

He said that in view of the stormy rains, all the departments should show full responsibility. Check the weather conditions before traveling to the city. Avoid going near power lines and poles during storms. Murree administration has ensured measures to restore traffic flow. The organizations responsible for drainage in big cities should be on alert during the mentioned days.
