Security forces killed four terrorists in an operation in North Waziristan.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) of the Pakistan Army, security forces conducted an operation on information about the presence of terrorists in North Waziristan, during which there was a sharp exchange of fire from both sides.
Four terrorists were killed in the exchange of fire, and arms, ammunition and explosives were recovered from their possession. The slain terrorists were involved in other crimes including attacks on security forces and target killing of civilians.
According to the ISPR, a sanitization operation is being carried out in the area to eliminate the terrorists, while the local people have appreciated the operation and assured full cooperation to end the menace of terrorism.
