Quetta: Chief Minister of Balochistan Sarfraz Bugti has said that it is hoped that Asif Ali Zardari will be elected as the president of the country for the second time by majority vote.
Talking to the media in the Balochistan Assembly, the Chief Minister said that the People’s Party will talk to all parties for the presidential elections and Asif Ali Zardari is the king of reconciliation, he is in favor of taking everyone along.
Sarfraz Bugti said that Maulana Fazlur Rehman and Jamiat’s provincial leadership have talked about supporting him in the presidential elections.
He said that the formation of the cabinet in Balochistan will take place after the by-elections of the Senate, while the cabinet will be formed in consultation with PPP, PML-N and allies. The committee formed regarding government formation of People’s Party and PML-N will decide the ministries.
In response to a question on hereditary politics, Sarfraz Bugti said that I am the Chief Minister but my father was not the Chief Minister.
