The petition filed to remove the chairman senate from office was declared inadmissible

The High Court declared the petition filed to remove Chairman Senate Sadiq Sanjrani from office as inadmissible.

The court upheld the registrar’s office’s objection on jurisdiction and declared the application inadmissible. Justice Shahid Bilal Hassan heard the petition of citizen Mishkoor Hussain.

Sadiq Sanjrani and Election Commission and others were made parties in the petition.

In the petition, it was requested that the Election Commission should order Sadiq Sanjrani’s seat as a senator to be declared vacant and the Lahore High Court should also stop Sadiq Sanjrani from working as Senate Chairman.
