Quetta: Corps Commander Balochistan Corps Lieutenant General Rahat Naseem visited the flood affected areas of Gwadar district and met the flood victims.
On this occasion, GOC Gwadar Division apprised the Corps Commander about the problems faced by the people in the affected area and the immediate steps taken by the relief teams. During the visit, the Corps Commander also met with social and regional elders.
The Corps Commander said that the Pakistan Army will ensure timely relief and rehabilitation of the flood victims in Balochistan in collaboration with the civil administration and other relevant institutions in this natural disaster.
On the other hand, in view of the flood situation, Pakistan Army has delivered 17 large and small water pumps from Quetta to Gwadar. Until the situation is completely improved, the aid teams of the Pakistan Army will continue to provide relief to the victims by remaining in the affected areas.
