Sindh Chief Minister will also go to MQM for support in presidential election

Karachi: Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah has said that he will also go to MQM to ask for votes and support for Asif Zardari in the presidential election.

He expressed these views while talking to the media after submitting the nomination papers of PPP’s presidential candidate Asif Ali Zardari in the Sindh High Court.

On the occasion of submission of nomination papers, 30 Sindh Assembly members including Faryal Talpur, Nasir Hussain Shah, Agha Siraj Durrani, Waqar Mehdi, Saeed Ghani, Sharjeel Memon, Nisar Khoro, Qaim Alishah, Nader Magsi and other PPP leaders were present.

Chief Justice Sindh High Court Justice Aqeel Ahmed Abbasi received the nomination papers as the presiding officer.

Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah appeared before the presiding officer as Asif Zardari’s recommender while Nasir Hussain Shah as endorser.

Speaking to the media, Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah said that we have submitted the papers of Asif Ali Zardari, now they will be scrutinized on March 4 in Islamabad.

He said that he has requested everyone for the election of the speaker, now we will go to ask for votes from MQM for the election of the president. We have had good relations with MQM in the past.

The Chief Minister of Sindh said that our local government is empowered at the moment, maybe the demand of MQM and the agreement is for the local government of Punjab. He said that Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has said regarding rigging, we have reservations everywhere including Sindh. Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah said that the speech of Ali Amin Gandapur shows what is the party guideline of PTI.
