Quetta: Newly elected members of Balochistan Assembly took oath.
The meeting of the Provincial Assembly was held under the chairmanship of Zamrak Achakzai, in which the newly elected members took oath. In the meeting, Fatiha was recited for those martyred in the explosions during the election.
On the other hand, political parties protested on the occasion of oath-taking of newly elected members in Balochistan Assembly. Demonstrators of different parties proceeded towards Balochistan Assembly and were stopped by the police on the way. Earlier, a heavy contingent of police was deployed on the roads leading to Redozone and Balochistan Assembly and the roads were closed by erecting barriers on the highways.
