Karachi: Sources of MQM Pakistan say that the decision of whether the party will join the government or the opposition will be taken after the final negotiations with the PML-N.
Regarding the ongoing negotiations with the Pakistan Muslim League-N, MQM sources said that the PML-N has agreed to our demands in principle. The talks for the final agreement on the demands of MQM Pakistan are to be held in the coming days.
According to sources, constitutional amendments are the first demand of MQM-Pakistan for the autonomy and strengthening of local governments. A final discussion has to be held on the governor of Sindh and the ministries. MQM Pakistan has demanded to finalize the negotiations before the election of Speaker National Assembly. An opinion has also been taken from the coordination committee whether to join the government or sit on the opposition seats, the decision in this regard will be taken after the final negotiations.
