Lahore: Muslim League-N Senator Ishaq Dar says that if the President does not call a meeting on the summary, the Speaker can constitutionally call the meeting himself on February 29.
Speaking to the media outside the Punjab Assembly, Senator Ishaq Dar said that it is very clear in the constitution that if the meeting is not called, then the speaker has the power to call the meeting on the 21st day and according to the constitutional 21-day deadline, February 29 is the last date.
He said that even in the provinces, if the governor does not call the meeting, the same principle will be applied there.
Former finance minister Ishaq Dar said that he cannot discuss how the economy will be fixed on such a floor.
