Karachi: After the general elections in the country, the first session of the Sindh Assembly was convened on February 24, in which the newly elected members will take oath of office.
The assembly session will be held at 11 am and the speaker will administer oath to the assembly members. A summary has been sent to the Governor to convene the assembly.
After the swearing in of the newly elected members, the Speaker will schedule the election of the new Speaker and Deputy Speaker.
After the finalization of the papers, the selection will be held at a gap of one day. After the Speaker and Deputy Speaker are elected, the newly elected Speaker will issue the schedule for the election of the Chief Minister.
