In Chakwal, an accident took place in the bus of Baratis near Klarkahar, in which 12 people were killed, while the condition of many is said to be critical.
The Motorway Police says that the dead and injured people are being taken out by cutting the bus. The accident bus was going from Islamabad to Lahore, Barati was on the bus.
Meanwhile, Deputy Commissioner Quratul Ain says that the number of people killed in the passenger bus accident has reached 12, including 6 women.
He said that 60 injured people have been taken out of the bus so far.
The DC said that women and children are also included in the injured and the rescue operation is going on.
Rescue officials say that efforts are on to cut the bus and evacuate the injured, the accident occurred due to brake failure.
DC Chakwal said that the injured are being shifted to the Trauma Center, Klarkahar and THQ Hospital, Klarkahar.
According to the rescue officials, the bus also collided with 3 vehicles coming from the other track.
