In the seventh match of Pakistan Super League (PSL) 9, defending champions Lahore Qalandars set a target of 167 runs to win against Multan Sultans.
In this match being played at Multan Cricket Stadium, Lahore Qalandars won the toss and decided to bat first.
At the beginning of the innings, Lahore Qalandars suffered their first loss in the form of in-form Sahibzada Farhan on a total of 3.
However, the experienced duo of Fakhar Zaman and Rasi Vander Doosan on the second wicket made a wonderful partnership of 94 runs to lead their team towards a big total.
On a total of 97, Osama Mir broke this dangerous partnership, he tried to break the speed of Lahore Qalandars’ innings by dismissing Dawson, who scored 54 runs.
