The weather is likely to turn cold again in Karachi from February 23.
According to the Meteorological Department, the temperature of the city may decrease from February 23 due to which the weather is likely to be cold. During this time, the minimum temperature can be recorded at 15 degrees Celsius while the maximum temperature can be recorded at 28 degrees Celsius.
The Meteorological Department further says that the change in weather in Karachi will be due to the influence of northwesterly winds from Balochistan, as a result of which cold weather and cold nights are expected.
Today (Wednesday) and tomorrow (Thursday) are expected to be clear and mostly sunny in the city. The minimum temperature was recorded at 20.5 degrees Celsius at the official weather station in Karachi. The lowest temperature was recorded at 18.5 in Maripur.
