Rawalpindi: A terrorist was killed in an operation by security forces in Dera Ismail (DI) Khan district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
According to a statement issued by the Public Relations Department of the Pakistan Army (ISPR), security forces conducted an intelligence-based operation in Dera Ismail Khan on February 20, during which a terrorist named Sohail was killed in an exchange of fire.
It has been reported that the slain terrorist was involved in various incidents including attacks on security forces and target killing of civilians.

According to the Spokesman of Pakistan Army, the operation to wipe out the terrorists in the area is going on while the local people have paid tribute to the security forces for the action against the terrorists and have assured their full cooperation.
