Islamabad: Objections were raised against the appeals against the convictions of founder chairman PTI Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi in the Cipher and Tosha Khana cases.
According to sources, after objections were filed on the appeals against the sentences, the lawyers of PTI founder chairman Imran Khan and his wife Bushra Bibi withdrew the appeals to remove the objections.
The objections to the appeals are likely to be removed and re-filed today.
It should be noted that appeals against the sentence were filed in the Islamabad High Court last week. Objections were raised on the appeals that the records were not complete and that the copies were faded.
