Karachi: In Orangi Town, Gulshan Bihar, an unknown tanker driver rammed the tanker on the dacoits who were stealing a motorcycle from a citizen, as a result of which one of the dacoits was killed on the spot while his accomplice managed to escape from the spot.
According to the details, an unknown tanker driver rammed the tanker near Orangi Town Gulshan Behar Baitul Noor Mosque in Pakistan Bazar police station area, killing a robber on the spot while his accomplice escaped from the spot. It succeeded. After receiving the information about the incident, the police reached the spot and shifted the body of the dead robber to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for legal proceedings.
SHO Pakistan Bazar Nafeesur Rahman told Express that the dead dacoit has been identified as Alam alias Bala alias Kala son of Mehboob Alam, weapons and 4 bullets were also recovered from the possession of the dead dacoit.
The SHO further said that the deceased dacoit and his accomplice Gulshan Bihar were snatching the motorcycle from Mohammad Sulaiman, a resident of Rais Amrohi Colony near Baitul Noor Mosque, which was resisted by the youth, while coming from a height. The unidentified tanker driver saw the incident and rammed the tanker on the dacoits as a result of which one dacoit was killed on the spot while his accomplice managed to escape. Both the civilian and the motorcycles used by the robbers have been recovered from the spot.
The SHO said that cases have been registered against the deceased dacoit in Pakistan Bazar police station under the provisions of murder, attempted murder, police encounter, robbery and illegal weapons, in which the deceased dacoit had been arrested and went to jail. The details of the cases registered in other police stations are being obtained. Raids are being conducted to arrest the accomplice of the slain dacoit.
