A new advisory has been issued for passengers and airlines going to Saudi Arabia.
According to the notification issued by the Saudi Aviation Authority, passengers whose passports have expired should not be given boarding for the journey.
According to Saudi Aviation, the airlines gave boarding to the passengers despite the expired passports.
According to the notification, boarding should not be given to passengers whose passports have been manually extended.
Saudi Aviation says strict legal action will be taken against airlines that do not follow the guidelines.
