Pakistan Super League (PSL) franchise Lahore Qalandars all-rounder David Wesa has said that Lahore Qalandars are not just like a team but a family, we will have little pressure to win the title for the third time in a row.
Talking to the media in Lahore, David Wesa said that being associated with Lahore Qalandars for 6 years, he is excited to play with his team in this season as well.
He said that every season is new, you play accordingly, what has happened is a part of the past, Lahore Qalandars gave me a chance when I was not playing anywhere.
The all-rounder of Lahore Qalandars added that other teams are also strong, there will be tough matches in PSL, we will all enjoy and perform well.
He said that Shaheen Afridi is a brilliant young captain and is learning, he is becoming a mature captain with time.
David Wesa also said that whatever decision Shaheen Afridi takes the whole team supports him, the Lahore Qalandars captain is working hard to improve his batting.
He said that there is no substitute for Rashid Khan, his performance has been good, when the morale of the team is down, the great spinner increases courage.
The Lahore Qalandars all-rounder added that Rashid Khan’s absence is a good opportunity for other bowlers to prove themselves.
