Peshawar: Pervez Khattak resigned from the membership and chairmanship of PTI parliamentarians.
Former Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and former Defense Minister Pervez Khattak sent his resignation to the Central Executive Committee of the party, in which he wrote that due to health problems, I cannot continue my duties for the party, so I am resigning.
The Central Executive Committee of PTI Parliamentarians has accepted the resignation of Pervez Khattak and appointed Mehmood Khan as the new Chairman of PTI Parliamentarians in his place.
Information Secretary PTI Parliamentarian Ziaullah Bangash says that Mehmood Khan will take over the office soon and take care of the affairs of the party. The Central Committee has approved the new chairman.
It should be noted that last year Pervez Khattak separated from Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf and formed a party in the name of PTI Parliamentarians.
