Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Pakistan has decided not to participate in the by-elections of the National Assembly to be held in Karachi, considering the economic situation of the country.
According to the announcement, the coordination committee meeting was held in Bahadurabad center under the chairmanship of Nasreen Jalil, Senior Deputy Convenor of MQM Pakistan.
In the said meeting, MQM Pakistan has decided not to participate in the by-elections.
According to MQM Pakistan, the decision not to participate in the by-elections has been taken considering the economic situation of the country.
According to the statement, the convener of MQM Pakistan Dr. Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui confirmed the decision of the coordination committee.
It should be noted that the PDM had requested Muttahida Qaumi Movement Pakistan not to participate in the by-elections on the vacant seats of the National Assembly.
The leadership of MQM Pakistan was contacted by the PDM in connection with the by-elections to be held on March 16 on the vacant seats of the National Assembly.
