For the ninth edition of Pakistan Super League (PSL), team Peshawar Zalmi released their anthem ‘Zalmi Yima (4K)’.

The team anthem has been released by the official account of Peshawar Zalmi on the video sharing platform YouTube.

In the video of this song, Pakistani actress Hania Aamir has appeared, while Peshawar Zalmi captain Babar Azam is also seen in some scenes.

It has been recorded in the voice of renowned singers Abdullah Siddiqui, Nihal Naseem and Zahoor while this song has been produced by Abdullah Siddiqui.

Abdullah Siddiqui, who gave voice to Peshawar Zalmi’s anthem, has also written its poetry along with Zahoor and Asfandyar Asad.

It should be noted that earlier Peshawar Zalmi released the local anthem ‘Zalmi Awaaz’ in Pashto language which was sung by famous Pashto singer Rahim Shah.

The said anthem has been filmed at the home ground Arbab Niaz Stadium while its video features Peshawar Zalmi captain Babar Azam along with Amir Jamal, Mohammad Haris and other fellow players.

It should be noted that the opening ceremony of the Pakistan Super League will be held today at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore, in which singers Ali Zafar, Aima Baig, Arif Lohar and Noori will perform.

After the opening ceremony, the first match will be played between Islamabad United and the defending champion team, Lahore Qalandars.

PSL 9 will be held in four cities Karachi, Lahore, Multan and Rawalpindi while the final will be played on March 18 at the National Stadium in Karachi.
