Quetta: The protest of Jamhoori Watan Party on the national highway of Sindh and Balochistan continues for the second day against the alleged rigging in the election.
According to the details, the protest of Jamhoori Watan Party against the alleged rigging in Balochistan Assembly Constituency PB10 and NA 253 continued on the second day as well.
Due to the sit-in, the national highway connecting Sindh and Balochistan was blocked due to which the track from Quetta to Shikarpur and other districts was suspended and long queues of vehicles were formed.
The sit-in is being led by former provincial minister Nawabzada Ghoram Bugti, while thousands of workers are participating in it. The protesters demanded biometric verification of the protestors at forty-four polling stations of PB-10 and NA-253.
Speaking to the participants, Nawabzada Ghoram Bugti said that ninety-nine percent of votes were cast at rigged forty-four polling stations and my opponent’s candidate won.
Apart from this, former Federal Minister for Narcotics Shah Zain Bugti also participated in the sit-in. The workers of the Jamuri Watan Party also burnt tires on the road.
