Jamaat-e-Islami announced a protest in Islamabad on Friday against rigging

Islamabad: Jamaat-e-Islami has announced a protest in the federal capital on Friday against election rigging.

Jamaat-e-Islami Central Secretary General Ameerul Azim while holding a press conference in Mansoora Lahore said that there will be a protest in Islamabad against rigging on Friday, February 16.

He said that Jamaat-e-Islami candidates from all over the country will file complaints against election rigging in the Election Commission.

Amirul Azim said that the caretaker government should establish a judicial commission against election rigging through the Chief Justice of Pakistan, where all parties related to election complaints should be heard and the proceedings of this commission should be broadcast live on the media.

Ameer-ul-Azeem said that the Election Commission is silent despite large-scale rigging, the caretaker government is brazenly providing protection to the Election Commission.
