Islamabad: Returning Officer NA 46 Islamabad released the final result of victory of PML-N candidate Anjum Aqeel Khan.
Returning Officer Kamran Ali Cheema has issued Form 49.
In the general elections, PML-N leader Aqeel Khan was successful with 82 thousand 536 votes, while independent candidate Amir Masood was second with 46 thousand 313 votes.
Jamaat-e-Islami candidate Mian Muhammad Aslam was in third place with 12 thousand 17 votes while PPP candidate Raja Imran Ashraf was in fourth place with 8 thousand 33 votes.
It should be noted that in the general elections, Muslim League-N has managed to get 75 seats while the independent candidates supported by Tehreek-e-Insaf have got 92 seats.
