A terrorist commander was killed in an operation by forces in Khyber district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
According to ISPR, security forces conducted an intelligence operation in Khyber district on information about the presence of a high-profile terrorist.
During the operation, ISIS terrorist commander Surat Gul alias Saifullah was killed after a fierce exchange of fire. Arms, ammunition and explosives were also recovered from the slain terrorist commander.
According to ISPR, Surat Gul was active in several terrorist activities including target killing of innocent civilians, extortion and was highly wanted by law enforcement agencies. An operation is being conducted to eliminate any other terrorists found in the area.
