Security is on high alert in the twin cities in view of the security situation

Islamabad: In view of the recent security situation, security has been put on high alert in the twin cities of Islamabad and Rawalpindi.

According to the spokesperson of Islamabad Capital Police, the security in Islamabad has been alerted to the third level, while all the people entering all the polling stations will be allowed to enter after a thorough check.

According to the spokesperson of the Capital Police, if someone is in the uniform of the police or any other agency, he will also have to go through the search process, while more than 2000 people will patrol in government and non-government vehicles to identify them. The flags of Pakistan are displayed on the vehicles.

According to the spokesperson, Pakistan flags have also been displayed on the vehicles of Islamabad Police and other institutions, ambulances, fire engines and other emergency services vehicles will be given priority in the traffic flow.

Security on high alert in Rawalpindi

On the other hand, CP Osaid Khalid Hamdani said that security is on high alert in Rawalpindi, special forces have been deployed at important places including railway stations, bus stands and public places.

According to the CPO, pickets have also been installed at the entrances and exits of the city where checking is being done, snapping will continue from 8 to 12 pm and senior officers are checking security duty in the field.

According to the CPO, the safety of citizens’ lives and property is the first priority, all resources are being used for the safety of citizens and the establishment of peace and order.
