Quetta: 12 people were killed and more than 30 injured in the explosion outside the election office.
According to the police, an explosion occurred outside the election office in the provincial assembly constituency PB-47, in which 12 people were killed and more than 30 were injured.

After the incident, the security forces surrounded the area and the rescue teams have shifted the bodies of the dead and the injured to the hospital.
According to initial reports, the nature of the explosion is said to be suicide, after which more security forces and rescue teams have been dispatched to the spot.
According to rescue sources, the incident took place in Khanuzai area of Pishin, where the election office of former provincial minister and independent candidate from PB-47, Isfandiar Kakar, was bombed.
On the other hand, in the press release issued by the Election Commission of Pakistan, it has been said that according to the reports of the media and monitoring teams, 8 people were killed as a result of an explosion near the office of a political party in Pashin District PB 47 of Balochistan. Taking notice of the incident in which 10 people were injured, the Election Commission has sought immediate reports from the Chief Secretary and IG Balochistan and has directed that immediate action be taken against those involved in these incidents.
Apart from this, the Caretaker Home Minister has sought a report from the Deputy Commissioner while expressing regret over the loss of precious human lives in the incident. He said that determination against terrorism will not be shaken by such cowardly acts. The enemy is looking to create instability in the country. We will defeat the enemy’s plot with unity and agreement. Such an attack will not affect the electoral process.
