Karachi: The Election Commission fined 49 thousand 900 rupees on Mayor Karachi Barrister Murtaza Wahab for violating the code of conduct.
According to the order of District Monitoring Officer Central District Syed Hasan Abbas Jafari, Mayor Karachi Murtaza Wahab was found guilty of violating the code of conduct for general elections 2024.
According to the order, Murtaza Wahab was unable to explain his position, so a fine of Rs 49,900 is being imposed on him due to his continuous absence.
