Rawalpindi / Quetta: Pakistan Army and FC conducted a successful rescue operation in Sami area of Turbat and shifted the citizens to a safe place.
After the flood in Sami area of Turbat, the residents of the area were stuck in a difficult situation, on which the Pakistan Army took a timely decision to evacuate the citizens trapped in the flood and on February 3, Pakistan Army helicopters and Frontier Corps (FC) troops. conducted a successful rescue and relief operation in the flood affected Sami area of Turbat.
The purpose of the operation was to evacuate 9 people, including children, who were trapped in the flood-affected area. Timely medical assistance and essential medicines were provided to the rescued persons in the nearby Frontier Corps (South Balochistan) camp.
Residents of the area expressed happiness over the timely actions of Pakistan Army and FC. Armed forces are alert to respond to any emerging challenge while ensuring the safety of people in natural calamities.
