Karachi: An explosion has occurred outside the office of the Election Commission in Shahr Quaid, in which fortunately no one was injured or lost.
According to the details, there was a loud explosion outside the office of the Election Commission in Sadar after sunset, the sound of which was heard in Sadar and surrounding areas.
According to the police, there was no loss of life in the explosion, but the wall of the Election Commission office was damaged.
The initial investigation revealed that the explosive material was placed in a shopping bag outside the Election Commission building.
The police have reached the scene and sealed the place and collected the evidence, while the bomb disposal squad has been called for the nature of the explosion.
After visiting the scene, SSP South Sajid Saduzai told the media that 500 grams of improvised explosive material was used in the blast, the blast is sabotage which was done to spread fear.
