A case of attack on Karachi Police Office (KPO) on Friday night has been registered in CTD police station, the details of which have come out.

Police officials have said that the case was registered under charge number 20 on February 18 at 4:30 PM.

According to the police officials, the case was registered in the complaint of the SHO of Sadar Thane, in which section 3 and 4 of explosives have been added in addition to other provisions including terrorism, murder, attempted murder.

According to the text of the case, SHO Thana Sadar has said in the statement that the attack was reported via wireless at 7:15 pm on Friday, February 17, and reached the spot at 7:20 pm and called for the rescue.

According to the registered FIR, an operation against the terrorists was organized under the leadership of DIG Irfan Baloch, 4 Rangers and policemen were martyred and 18 people were injured in the attack.

The text of the case states that 3 terrorists were involved in the attack, one of whom was killed in retaliation on the fourth floor, the second terrorist blew himself up on the third floor, and the third terrorist on the roof. Killed in retaliation.

According to the text, the two terrorists who were killed in the operation were also wearing suicide vests, the organs of the suicide bomber have been found.

In the text of the recorded case, it is said that the terrorists entered by cutting the wire on the rear wall of the family quarters built near the Sadar Police Line, the three terrorists had boarded a vehicle and reached the Sadar Police Line, near the Sadar Police Line. The parked car has been impounded.

According to the FIR, 2 terrorists on a motorcycle came along with the car-borne terrorists, who pointed out the KPO to the car-borne terrorists.

According to the case, 5 hand grenades, 2 suicide jackets were recovered from the terrorists which were defused.

The text of the case also states that the banned Tehreek-e-Taliban claimed responsibility for the attack through social media.

A case has been registered against the three assailants, absconding accused and facilitators.

It should be noted that all the terrorists were killed in the attack on the Karachi Police Head Office on the night of February 17, while 4 people including police and Rangers personnel were martyred and 18 people were injured.
