Ottawa: Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has accused China of interfering in the country’s democratic system, saying that there have been reports of alleged Chinese interference in Canadian elections.
According to details, after the US, Canada’s relations with China have also become strained, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau said on Friday that China is trying to interfere in Canada’s democracy and elections.
“I’ve been saying for years, even on the floor of the House of Commons, that China is trying to interfere in our democracy, in the running of our country, and in our elections,” Trudeau said.

Trudeau also said that intelligence and security agencies have been working for years to develop tools to prevent Chinese interference.
