Quetta: Balochistan caretaker information minister John Achakzai has said that Section 144 has been imposed in the capital of the province and the condition of NOC has been set for election rallies.
John Achakzai said that law and order is the top priority of the government and all relevant institutions have been directed to ensure the safety of the general public.
The caretaker provincial information minister said that NOC from Deputy Commissioner Quetta should be mandatory for any gathering including election meetings.
It should be noted that the election campaign is going on in the country in connection with the general elections scheduled on February 8 and political parties are organizing rallies and corner meetings, while concerns are also being expressed regarding law and order in the country.
Yesterday, a policeman on duty was killed as a result of firing at the Regional Election Commissioner’s office in Turbat. Will make sure.
