Lahore: Due to Pakistan Super League matches, the screening of Pakistani film ‘Super Punjabi’ was stopped.
According to Express News, while holding a media conference with filmmakers Safdar Malik, Sohail Malik, Mumtaz Ahmed at Al-Hamra Art Council, famous comedian Iftikhar Thakur said that PSL matches are about to start in Lahore. has decided not to release the movie ‘Super Punjabi’ in March and the new date will be announced soon.
He further said that we will not release our film on Eid in solidarity with the filmmakers who have announced the release of their films on Eid so that every film can get a full business opportunity.
Iftikhar Thakur said that in the next project, other foreign artists including India will be involved and through ‘Super Punjabi’ we have also given the message of giving polio drops.
On this occasion, filmmaker Safdar Malik’s next film ‘Jane Lahore Nai Vekhya’ was also announced.
The cast of the film ‘Super Punjabi’ includes Mohsin Abbas Haider, Saima Baloch, Qaiser Piya, Iftikhar Thakur, Salim Al Bela, Sohail Sameer and other artists.
