Islamabad: DROs and ROs have been assigned the powers of magistrate first class by the Election Commission.
The Election Commission has issued an official notice regarding the assignment of Magistrate First Class powers to District Returning Officers and Returning Officers.
According to the notification, the powers of magistrate have been given to ROs and DROs of all national and provincial assemblies.
