The Peshawar High Court has rejected the plea against the death sentence of the accused of raping and murdering a minor girl, saying that such people are wolves in human form who do not deserve any concession.
According to Express News, in 2018, a hearing was held on the petition against the death sentence of the accused who killed an 8-year-old girl Manahil after sexually assaulting her in Nowshera Kalan. The Peshawar High Court upheld the decision of the Child Protection Court while rejecting the plea of the accused.
The Child Protection Court had sentenced the offender twice to death and twice to life imprisonment.
Today, after hearings, the court issued a 26-page verdict written by Justice Sahibzada Asadullah. The judge said in the verdict that the criminal Yasir had killed an eight-year-old girl Manahil in Nowshera Kalan on December 28, 2018 after raping her. Such people do not deserve any kind of concession. These people are wolves in human form. Going towards certainty.
In the verdict, it has been said that the cases of rape of children are happening day by day and they are increasing, I don’t know how many children are facing such situation every day. Killed is the end of cruelty.
The judge has further written that every morning comes with a story of such cruelty, such innocent lives ask daily what was their fault? The answer lies neither with the court nor with the society, no concession can be made to such elements.
