Lahore: A TikToker who made a video of a public walk-out with a Bengal tiger came on the radar of Punjab Wildlife.
After the video went viral on social media, Punjab Wildlife recovered the tiger and took it into custody, while an application has been made to the police to take action against the accused Tik Tokkar. Officials have made it clear that legal action will be taken against those who bring any wild animals including tigers and tigers to political rallies and public places.
The team of Punjab Wildlife Lahore has started action against TikToker Nauman Hussain, it has been reported that the accused shared his videos on other social media platforms including TikTok. Acting on the instructions of DG Wildlife, the Deputy Director confined the tiger in the breeding farm of Nauman Hussain.

Deputy Director Wildlife Lahore Region Tanveer Janjua said that a challan has been submitted to the court against the accused under the Wildlife Act. Only the court can fine and punish the accused. The purchase receipt and license of the tiger will be asked from the accused and in case of lack of license, the tiger will be confiscated.
It should be noted that in the past, many people have been making and sharing videos with lions and tigers on social media. Punjab Wildlife has already taken action against such persons. Keeping dangerous animals including lions and tigers in urban areas is prohibited. Such animals can only be kept in breeding centres, for which a license from Punjab Wildlife is required.
