Matriculation and Intermediate Results; The future of Karachi's children was deliberately darkened, Farooq Sattar

Karachi: Senior Deputy Convener of MQM Pakistan Dr. Farooq Sattar has said that the future of the children of Karachi has been deliberately darkened in the matriculation and intermediate results.

Speaking to the media at Pakistan House, Farooq Sattar said that this is not the party’s problem, it is the country’s problem that after the quota system, the doors of education are being closed to the children of urban areas. The punishment of the quota system is upon us. Children of urban areas of Sindh were deprived of 5 lakh jobs.

He said that matriculation exams have directly affected children. Out of 4 lakh children, 45% children were failed under the scheme. The matriculation board scams have darkened the future of children. Children from Karachi used to compete with children from other cities. Administration of Sindh Bureaucracy, Matriculation Board has created Qayamat Sughra.

Farooq Sattar said that 65 percent of children have been failed in intermediate. This is how it is possible that matric and intermediate children failed. There is a regular plan to darken the future of the children of Karachi. All this has been done at the behest of landlords and vadirs. He said that MQM strongly condemns this action of matriculation board and expresses solidarity with the parents.

Senior Deputy Convener MQM Pakistan Dr. Farooq Sattar further said that demonstrations will be held at the offices of matriculation and intermediate boards. In rural areas, 80 to 90 percent of children have passed. He said that what is left for us to be Pakistani? The caretaker government should take notice of this, the Supreme Court and the High Court should immediately take action on it, how can this all be told. The army chief should also take note of this, now the end has come, as a result of this exploitation, the parents of the children are also standing with the MQM. We will take back our stolen seats, then talk to them.
