Karachi: Students who failed in the first year pre-medical and pre-engineering groups of Interboard Karachi staged a dharna at the Karachi Press Club.

According to the details, the students who failed in the first year pre-medical and pre-engineering groups of Higher Secondary Education Board Karachi and their parents staged a dharna in front of the Karachi Press Club.

The protestors said that we had obtained 90 or more than 80 percent results in matriculation, but now we are being forced to give supplies by failing two or three papers. Many boys and girls have even attempted suicide. But the parents gave hope. The protesting students appealed to the Sindh Chief Minister to take notice.

Dozens of protesters holding placards in their hands shouted slogans against the Sindh Board. The protesters claimed that we had given the papers in the exams with complete preparation. A committee consisting of board administration and parents should be formed and in front of parents. Re-check the paper.

MQM leader Rauf Siddiqui also came to the sit-in to express solidarity with the protesters. Later, Afaq Ahmed, chairman of the Mahajir Qaumi Movement, also participated in the sit-in.

Talking to the media, Afaq Ahmed said that I have come to congratulate and encourage these children. People have been expelled from the quota system, then from universities and now from the Board of Secondary Education and Higher Secondary Education.

He said that the children who have performed well in the matriculation are being disrupted in their educational journey by failing them, under planning and conspiracy, more opportunities are being given to the children of Sindh, where the teachers are also being given the complete education of the school. Spelling does not come, instead of building more schools and colleges, they are being stopped’.

Afaq Ahmed said that many of the failed children had suicidal intentions, their parents stopped them, IB teachers who were recruited on quota, do not even know the full form of IB. And copies should be checked by neutral teachers, these results should be cancelled, a committee should be formed in this regard, in which parents can also be represented, this entire city has become a red zone.

The chairman of the Muhajir Qaumi Movement said that if you are closing the doors of protest for these children, it will not be a right decision, the media should also fulfill its duty by covering them fully. When the students announced to go to the Commissioner House, Assistant Commissioner Central District Zara Zahid held talks with the protestors and told that a committee has been formed to investigate the matter.

Later, the delegation of the coordination committee of MQM Pakistan also met the Chairman of the Board of Higher Secondary Education at the Commissioner’s House. After which, while talking to the media, MQM leader Muhammad Hussain said, “We met the Commissioner Karachi and told him about the results issued by the Intermediate Board on December 30, Karachi city is not for Sindh but for Pakistan.” used to lead, 30 to 32 percent results’.

He said that O-level children of Karachi students also failed in the exam, students and parents are worried about this issue, this result is made under the design, professor level people did not check the copies, of the exams. Copies were checked by people at lower levels, which led to massively distorted results.

The MQM leader said that today we have requested Saleem Rajput to make re-totaling free, we have also requested to make a special desk, today the students of Karachi are the children of MQM Pakistan, at the educational institutions of Karachi. Attempts to seize will not be allowed.

He said that he will raise his voice at every forum on the abuses of students and girls. We have requested the committee formed by Sohail Rajput to keep in touch with MQM.
