According to sources, there are 7 government hydrants in Karachi where massive irregularities were revealed in which lakhs of gallons of water are being sold silently without any records. Sources said that 3 government hydrants of Kar Achi, Nipa, Sakhi Hasan and Kirsh 2 hydrants have allegedly become a hotbed of corruption.
According to the sources, the meters installed by the water board are closed from 12:00 pm to 6:00 am at these three hydrants and during this time there is no record of the amount of water taken from the main lines.

Sources say that the contract of Napa hydrant is with a person named Ghulam Nabi. This person has had this contract for many years where he has a complete monopoly and the important officers of the water corporation are selling water illegally in collaboration with this person. do
