Mir Aslam Bilidi, a former provincial minister, senator and candidate for the upcoming general elections from Constituency 258 in Kech region of Balochistan was assassinated in which he was injured.
According to Deputy Commissioner Kich Hussain Jan, unknown persons fired indiscriminately at the car of Aslam Bilidi on the main road in Turbat city, in which he was injured.
According to the Deputy Commissioner, Aslam Bilidi has been transferred to the Teaching Hospital Turbat for medical assistance.
On the other hand, the Caretaker Chief Minister of Balochistan strongly condemned the attack on Mir Aslam village in Turbat and asked for a report from the Home Department of Balochistan.
Caretaker Chief Minister Mir Ali Mardan Domgi directed that provision of fool-proof security to the election campaign and candidates should be ensured, all resources should be used to arrest the elements involved in the incident.
