Quetta: The Election Tribunals dismissed the appeal filed by former Finance Advisor Khaled Longu on two constituencies of the National Assembly and five constituencies of the Provincial Assembly.
According to Express News, the Election Tribunal established in the Balochistan High Court heard 19 appeals filed against the decisions of the RO on rejection of nomination papers.
Balochistan High Court Justice Muhammad Hashim Kakar and Justice Muhammad Amir Nawaz Rana heard the appeals. The tribunal rejected the appeals of Khaled Longo, upholding the RO’s decision to reject the nomination papers of former Finance Advisor Khaled Longo. After which he has been declared ineligible to contest the election.
Former finance advisor Khalid Longo submitted nomination papers from two constituencies of National Assembly and five constituencies of Balochistan Assembly.
