Peshawar: Peshawar High Court summoned ANP leader Amil Wali Khan on January 11 in the contempt of court case.
A contempt of court petition against ANP provincial president Amil Wali Khan was heard. The court ordered that Emil Wali Khan appear and explain.
The petitioner’s lawyer said that Amil Wali Khan has said in the interview that I know the Chief Justice, he is from Asad Qaiser’s village and he has been among the lawyers. He has also said that when the Chief Justice retires, he will come to the court as a lawyer and advocate.
The Chief Justice inquired that who are these allied lawyers? Lawyer petitioner Barrister Sarwar Shah said that it is Awami National Party’s legal wing. Chief Justice Ibrahim Khan remarked that if I have been a part of the group of lawyers, then they are threatening their own lawyers.
