The Israeli army shot and killed a Palestinian including a teacher during a raid in Jenin.
According to Al Jazeera’s report, the number of Palestinians who were martyred by the Israeli army in the occupied West Bank in January has reached 17.
Local journalists said that 57-year-old Jawad Farid was a father of 6 children and a teacher in a local school. He said that he was martyred in the refugee camp while the other Palestinian who was martyred was identified as 28-year-old Adham Jibrin.
The Palestinian Ministry of Health confirmed the names and ages of the martyrs and said that at least 4 other Palestinians were wounded by Israeli army fire.
A local journalist who witnessed it said that the teacher was shot on the street in front of his house when he was trying to help Adham Jibrin after he was shot.
