Islamabad: Agreements have been signed between the Government of Pakistan and K Electric to provide energy security to Karachi.
According to a statement by the Power Division, the agreements resolved long-standing disputes between the government and K-Electric, the most important of which was related to formalizing and securing power supply to Karachi from the National Grid up to interconnection capacity. .
The agreements were signed in the presence of Energy Minister Muhammad Ali and Finance Minister Dr. Shamshad Akhtar, CEO Electric Monis Alvi and CFO Muhammad Amir Ghaziani.
