Waseem was called by someone and left the house without informing
Karachi: Orangi Town Police has registered a case of murder of Jamaat-e-Islami activist Waseem Siddiqui against unknown accused in the complaint of his brother.
Faheem Siddiqui, the plaintiff in the case, has given a statement to the police that he is a resident of Orangi Town Gulfanabad, the deceased Waseem Siddiqui is my elder brother and used to live with his family and work as a travel agent, on January 2, my cousin Azim. Shahzad called that your brother Waseem Siddiqui has been shot and killed by someone.
He said that on inquiry, it was found that someone had called the brother and he left the house without informing him. At 9:30 pm, someone shot him near the Jamaat al-Muslimeen Mosque in Sector 7, due to which he was killed.
In the light of the plaintiff’s statement, the police registered a murder case number 6 of 2024 against the unknown accused under section 302 and handed it over to the investigation police.
